The day was absolutely gorgeous, bride and groom stunning, not to mention amazingly sweet. Truly this was a dream to photograph! Amy and Seth chose three beautiful locations for their big day, starting at Amy’s family home in Bedford, NH. June is probably one of the best months for a wedding in NH, sunny, bright but not too hot! And today was just that. Perfection!
Amy’s home was light and airy complete with beautiful gardens and pool. But the true beauty was inside on this day!
After a relaxed photo shoot at the house, the limo arrived and we were off to our second location The Congregational Church in Amherst, NH. Now, anyone who knows me can imagine what I was thinking. Churches can often be difficult photographically due to their lack of light. What a breath of fresh air this one was! So bright and full of warmth, set in the heart of the old town center across from a gorgeous park. I was in love at first sight! If we didn’t have a wedding to get to, we could have shot here all day!
And on to the reason for the day! Back across the street guests were starting to arrive and it was time for Amy and Seth to take their places. The ladies went around back while the groomsmen handed out programs and ushered family and friends to seats. This church has a great balcony which was perfect for some unobstructed views. I tiptoed my way up, used my long lens and loved the bird’s eye view!
The Bedford Village Inn is a spot I’ve driven past numerous times, but this was my first wedding there and what a great spot! Overlooking the golf course, great big Southern windows allow for fabulous natural light, the staff is super friendly, and the food delicious. The only thing that made it even better was getting to be a part of such a great event. Seriously, Seth and Amy are sweethearts so it’s no wonder their family and friends are such a loving, fun group. And as the night went on they only got better!
Congrats Seth and Amy and thank you for including me for such a perfect celebration! This was one I didn’t want to leave, but did so with a big smile and excitement to go home and look at all the images!
